IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE FIRE MARSHAL
As the tragic news came out of Philadelphia today of a fatal House fire where 13 people were killed, 7 of them being children. We always state the importance of having WORKING SMOKE ALARMS in your home! From a big city to a small community fires can happen to anyone!
In the month of December 2021 our Fire Department responded to 3 working residential fires within the Borough of Westville. These fires displaced 8 families from their homes for the holidays but luckily, no injuries or deaths reported!
Please check your smoke alarms TODAY! If you need of a smoke detector please call the Westville Fire District No. 1 at 856-456-9432 and we will gladly provide you with some!
One life lost is too many!!!
